Non-Cellular RubberSolid non-cellular rubbers
are generally high density products that provide high compression deflection values. Most
commonly used for spacers, non-cellular rubbers are also utilized to control airflow, seal
joints and couplings (washer applications), and to provide "blinds" for
aesthetic applications. A wide variety of compounds like Neoprene, EPDM, Vinyl Nitrile and
Silicone are available to meet special needs such as resistance to petroleum products, or
exposure to heat. Non-cellular rubbers are created by mixing these compounds and then
extruding or calendaring the product to a specified thickness.
Common Applications:
- Visual binds for tilt steering column
- Air Control Flaps
- Spacers for maintaining gaps
- Systems seals and thermal insulation
- Vibration isolators for interior automotive components
Available Sizes:
Thickness: .2mm - 5mm
Width: 2mm - 900mm
Length: 2mm - 10M |
