PVC, PC & PET FilmPolyvinylchloride (PVC),
Polycarbonate (PC) and Polyester (PET) are plastics films with a diverse range of
applications. PVC films are generally flexible and are often used for wire harnesses
protection wraps. Polycarbonate is a very rigid and durable product that can be used in
many applications such as tail lamp inner lens or spacers. PET films are relatively
puncture resistant and can be die cut into intricate patterns. These characteristics allow
PET films to be used for electrical insulation (protecting a printed circuit boards from
grounding). Films that pass UL 94 flammability requirements are available.
